Once upon a time there was a guy who owned a hot dog stand names Rick
Fingerman, but his hobby and his passion was photography. So in 1984 he "let the
dogs out" and began what has become an illustrious career as a professional
photographer. He began his training with Michael Metzger of Highland Park and
then with Phil Farber of Photo Images, Northbrook. In 1989 Rick ventured off on
his own in order to feature and promote his unique style of photography and
personality. To this day, Rick prides himself in his extensive repeat client base, as
well as serving second generations into loyal clients.

Photography speaks to Rick more than being a group of photos, the indeed do tell
a story. He feels lucky to share in the most joyous occasions and happiest moments
of his clients. Rick's sense of humor and demeanor put his clients at ease on the
most nerve wracking days of their lives. They relax, enjoy and most importantly it
shows in the pictures. We have fun as I capture some the most radiant smiles. I
become part of the party, yet I never interfere in the festivities. With an intuitive
sense of what his clients want from their photography, Rick is there to document
important moments as well as create some.

with a personal trainer every week and promises not to have a heart attack at your
event.
